TRD PRO TACOMA

TRD PRO Tacoma

Proven engineering in one easy-to-drive package. Bolted to the underside of Tacoma TRD Pro is a mandrel-bent, black-chrome-tipped, stainless steel cat-back exhaust to help maximize performance and efficiency. Oh, yeah—It also adds an ear-pleasing bark to the 3.5-liter V6’s powerful bite. A beefy, TRD-engineered ¼-in. aluminum skid plate helps protect the crucial mechanical bits up front. And TRD Pro 16-in. black alloy wheels with Kevlar®-reinforced 44 Goodyear® 48 Wrangler® 45 tires add form and function, so you can just roll over the tough stuff.

TRD PRO Tacoma

This is hard-core engineering. FOX®-patented 59 Internal Bypass shocks tuned by TRD help give you the ultimate in comfort and control. Designed to handle the high-speed suspension movement common in the dirt, these dampers feature 2.5-in. aluminum housings; hardened, oversize shock shafts; and remote reservoirs in the rear. What’s more, this rugged system helps provide more ground clearance, increased suspension travel, maximum damping and fade-free performance.

TRD PRO Tacoma

Whether it’s for a journey beyond the Arctic Circle, or just a quick trip to your local trail, Tacoma TRD Pro has got the goods to help you get more from every outing. Standard technologies on automatic transmission-equipped models like Multi-terrain Select, Crawl Control 57 and Hill Start Assist Control 61 help you take on challenging terrain without breaking a sweat. And when things get tough, the electronically controlled locking rear differential helps put the power down where it needs to go, helping you take on snow, dirt, mud and more. Keep pushing those limits

RUBICON WRANGLER

rubicon

Any off-road enthusiast knows the legendary Rock-Trac® 4x4 System. Standard on the Rubicon, it gives you more control and more torque, offering exceptional off-road performance. The tough-as-nails NV241 off-road transfer case with a 4:1 low gear ratio, Tru-Lok® electronic locking front and rear differentials and an electronic front sway bar disconnect are always ready to be tested. With a 4:1 low-gear ratio, the Rock-Trac®-equipped Rubicon can supply an 84:1 crawl ratio when equipped with the manual transmission. The heavy-duty transfer case delivers more torque and more control for exceptional off-road performance.

rubicon

This system, standard on the Rubicon, allows you to disconnect the front sway bar so your front wheels can drop and compress, resulting in improved  suspension articulation for increased off-road capability. Different surfaces and angles can result in power being misapplied, causing wheels to spin. Front and rear Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials distribute power evenly between the wheels for ultimate traction.

rubicon

The heroic capability of the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine works hard to keep you going. Not only does it boast up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, but it brings 17 city/25 highway mpg on the two-door model and 17 city/23 highway mpg on the four-door model for impressive fuel efficiency. The available all-new 2.0L Direct-Injection Turbo engine is equipped with technologies designed to enhance performance and increase fuel efficiency. City fuel efficiency is improved by 35% ( Disclosure6) on two-door models and an extra 71 pound-feet of torque in the low rpm range helps smooth shifts and boost launch performance.
